SOAPBOX

K5QE Multi-Op EM31. Operators: K5QE, K5MQ, NR5M, N1XS, EC5KXA
Conditions generally poor. 6M very spotty - unable to ever get a good run going. 2M EME was poor here too. Signals were V-Pol the entire weekend and I am H-Pol. This is the best VHF Contest that we have..... Keep it up.

VE7DAY Single-Op All Band QRP CO70
In Campbell River conditions werre spotty at best.

K6EL Single-Op All Band CM99
6M didn't open here at all. Sunday morning it sort of bubbled for awhile yielding 10 mults but never a decent run. Activity was way down from last year although I managed to work 2 new 2M grids thanks to K6EU/R in CM86 on CW and KS7S in DN71 on MS!

KI7JA Single-Op Single Band 144 MHz CN85
This was an interesting contest. With tropo openings to the north. I managed to work W7EME/MM in CN65 for grid #99. I worked N7EPD in CN74 just before he shut down, and worked K7AWB in DN17 before he came up in signal strength. Overall, this was a fun contest.

KG7HQ Hilltopper CN88
Operated Hilltop QRP from Cap Sante, Anacortes, WA. FT-817ND at less than 5 watts into a 11 element Cushcraft Yagi on 2 Meters and 2 element Buddipole Yagi on 6 Meters. Elevation at 500 feet.

W7RDP Single Op All Band CN87
Running a K3/10, 8W on 6M and 10W on 2M. Using a Parr SM-50 and Arrow 3el 2M Yagi.

VE7HLW Single Op QRP CN99
Operated the contest while camping at Jones Lake, outside of Hope BC. Only had a single 6M loop to put on top of the camper and 5 watt QRP with an FT-817ND. Grid Square CN99EG.
