Conditions started out poor.  Finally 6M picked up on Sat evening and Sunday.  EME was very poor.  MS was also pretty poor as no rocks were flying.
5 PNW GRIDS WORKED: CN87 CN89 DN10 DN22 DN24

K7ATN/R Limited Rover: During a 2000 mile road trip from Oregon to Iowa did a very challenging mobile-only rove.

K7BWH: My goal was to refine my hilltopping station by using it on a desk at home. The metaphor is: Sometimes you take an axe, go in the woods and pound on trees. And sometimes you stay home and sharpen your axe. This was my weekend to sharpen axes. Saturday had a brief opening from Seattle to New Mexico, and Sunday offered a good opening to California. I had several good signal reports from LA and owned 50.150 for a while. Anyone that tuned around the band worked me, but there were surprisingly few 6m ops that turned the knob up that far. On 6m, I used 500w with a rooftop 3-el beam; I could work everyone I heard, great fun. On 2m, I used a 7-el beam but only 50w while wishing for my new amp to work. And it was a good thing I stayed home. My new 2m amp couldn't run from my generator. My laptop couldn't run WSJT9; my desktop could run meteor scatter but the system was nearly deaf and I had zero contacts in three hours. And now I know exactly which axes need sharpening.

K7HPT/R Rover: 4 ROVER GRIDS ACTIVATED: CN95 DN05 DN06 DN17

KD7UO: Missed most of the 'test - graduation weekend for daughter!  But happy to make a few Qs.

KE7IHG/R Limited Rover: 9 ROVER GRIDS ACTIVATED: CN76 CN77 CN85 CN86 CN87 CN88 CN96 CN97 CN98

KI7JA (SK): Fun contest, but spotty conditions.

KX7L/8: On temporary work assignment in OH; I brought my KX3 with me and couldn't resist getting on the air. Had to Macgyver together a quad loop the night before. Went to Headlands Dunes State Park on Lake Erie, thinking all that water would help.  It was definitely quiet there - I could hear the stuff the locals were struggling with, but no one but 3 locals heard my little signal... Oh well - it was anice day at the beach at least!

N6ZE: N6ZE operated as a 3 band low power entry (SOLP-3 Bands) entry in the ARRL June 2014 VHF Contest. Operating location was from home QTH in DM04ne. Several 6 meter openings along the Southern tier of states were noted with best DX to EL09. Many Denver, CO stations were also worked & some contacts were made in the Pacific Northwest. I missed a substantial 6m opening on Sunday because I had a Father's Day lunch commitment. Two meters was basically a bust for me because my long yagi remains fixed to the East with 40 degrees of elevation. My 70 cm yagi was only 10 ft above ground level and view is NOT in the clear. I made QSOs with members of 3 clubs which I belong to: Ventura Co. ARS, Conejo Valley ARC, & the Pacific Northwest VHF Society. 6 meters yielded  87 QSOs (8 on C.W.) in 41 grids; 2 meters netted 22 QSOs in 4 grids; & 70 centimeters provided 14 QSO in 5 grids for a total score of 6850 points. De N6ZE

N7DB: I had to use my IC-502 on 6 this year. Conditions OK, still made 7 DX grids QRP.

WW7D/R Limited Rover: 10 ROVER GRIDS ACTIVATED: CN76 CN77 CN85 CN86 CN87 CN88 CN95 CN96 CN97 CN98
Minimal Es openings, but enjoyable contest nevertheless.   The long version can be found here:  http://tinyurl.com/ww7dJunVHF2014
