AL1VE Single-Op 3-Band: Great 6 meters openings but unable to work many stations on higher bands

K7ALO Single-Op Portable: Running portable near Davis Peak in SW Washington. Resubmitted to fix times, and forgot two contacts. Plus fix one callsign.

It was great to enjoy steady FM activity in the Seattle area. I joined the contest using my dual-band mobile radio (Kenwood TM-D710) while driving on the freeways for an hour. Good fun.

K7SMA Single-Op Low Power: Could not operate full contest - still fun

K7SWS Single-Op Portable: Tried something new, wasn't able to rove this contest so test drove my KX3 and had a blast. I used my handheld for 223.5 and 927.5 Notable contacts on 6 meters DM58,DM43,DM06...Heard a bunch more but no JOY!

K7VHF Unlimited Multi-Op: Operators KD7TS KD7UO

KX7L Single-Op 3-Band: Every few years the planets line up right, and we get a good Es opening during the contest.  This was one of those years!  I'm not
sure how early the excitement started on Sunday morning, but it was in full swing when I turned on the radio.  Not just a spot opening to SoCal, but a nice arc from Colorado all the way south. XE2CQ was  booming in for hours!  Also nice to work all the locals, and have a working 2m beam again!

N6ZE Single-Op Low Power: I did not have too much time available for this contest, but enjoyed operating from my back porch as a QRP station with a whip and a dipole for antennae! Even managed a couple of 6 meter Es QSOs with the FT817. I'm always glad when I can operate from the PNW during VHF/UHF contests: Activity levels are much higher than in SoCal; many significant mountain obstructions exist all along the West Coast to both help and hinder operations!

N7DB Single-Op Portable: Made an effort just to enter this Contest. Saturday was with my van parked up the road a little way. Used IC-502 w/Larsen 2M 5/8 wave, 2M with FT-60R, same antenna and Midland 13-509 to a 1/4 wave whip.Sunday I was sweeping grass by hand on an upper field and figured I
SOAPBOX: would take the FT-60R along to see what I could hear/work. Made 6Q while there in the field!

VE7DAY Single-Op 3-Band: This was the best opening for the June contest in recent years.
