Great contest with 10 club members participating. Lots of QSO's on FM but 6m was not open for us. As always learned a great deal and worked with a good friends.

A couple of non radio activities competed for my time this weekend, but I think I still managed to put in a fair showing. Unlike last year, no big Es openings, just a few too-brief-for-a-qso appearances by some CA/AZ stations. Thanks for all the QSOs!

6 Meters was not in great shape for out of state hops and I ended up working only 5 grids; CN97,88, 87, 86 and 85. A highlight was working John KM7O running very low power (10W??) with an indoor antenna. While out of the shack (of course) I received about 5 decodes from Ed, N7PHY with a +4 peak from DM03. Sorry I missed you in the contest Ed, I didn't see any more decodes but saw others working you. You must have a very good front to back ratio on that beam. 73, Chuck WA7BRL
